Notifications

Notifications on the iqpi.io platform are an event feed in the personal account: game challenges, friends, gifts, tournaments, clubs, balance, and other system messages. They appear under the bell in the header and on the notifications page.

Below — where to open the feed, how it differs from messenger, how read items are marked, and all notification sources.

Where to find things

AreaHow to open
BellAccount / site header (after sign-in) → dropdown of new items
All notifications/lk/notifications or “Show all” in the popup
Burger menuNotifications item / icon → same page

On /lk/notifications tabs:

TabContent
“Messenger”Private messages (not the notifications table) — Messenger
“Notifications”Main event feed
“Friend requests”Friendship requests
“Mailings”Club mailing management for the club creator (not incoming notifications)

Direct link to the feed: /lk/notifications?tab=notifications.

How to read notifications

  1. Open the bell or the “Notifications” tab.
  2. Unread items are marked “New”.
  3. When viewing the “Notifications” tab (and when changing the list page), unread items from the current list are marked read.
  4. On the “Friend requests” tab, unread requests that can be answered are marked when the tab is opened.

There is no “delete all” / “clear feed” button in the UI. There are no separate settings for “which notification types to receive”: events arrive by platform rules.

On a new notification the bell counter updates; a toast popup may appear.

Events inside a game room (move, draw offer, etc.) go in real time via the room connection; some game outcomes also appear in the notifications feed (see below).
