Help: Earning

Paid clubs

Paid clubs are a way to earn IQPIC on platform iqpi.io as a club founder: you enable paid membership, and players pay a membership fee to join and use the community. The amount arrives immediately on your personal balance.

Below — how to enable payment, which plans exist, how members join, where money goes, and how a membership fee differs from a tournament entry fee, donations, and advertising.

Full club overview (posts, chat, rights, tournaments): Clubs. Balance: Balance management.

The idea of earnings

You create a club with value for the audience (chat, posts, club tournaments, a community around Chess or Tetris) and set an entry price.

In the catalog and on the page such a club shows a “Paid” badge.

How to create a club and enable paid membership

1. Create a club

  1. Sign in to the account → /lk/clubs or /lk/clubs/create.
  2. By default you need at the same time:
    • balance of at least 100 IQPIC;
    • account age of at least 7 days.
  3. Fill in name, game, description, banner, etc.

After creation membership is free. Payment is enabled separately.

2. Enable payment

  1. Open /lk/clubs/{slug}/edit“Access” section.
  2. “Membership”: choose “Paid” (instead of “Free”).
  3. Set “Price” in IQPIC (greater than zero).
  4. Choose the method:
    • “One-time” — a single payment on joining;
    • “Monthly” — subscription (30-day period).

In the UI the price looks like :amount IQPIC one-time or :amount IQPIC per month.

Changing membership terms notifies members (except the founder).

How a member pays and joins

Public club page: /clubs/{slug}.

  1. Presses “Join” (or the join equivalent).
  2. “Pay membership” opens.
  3. Pays:
    • from the IQPIC balance“Pay and join”;
    • or with crypto (IQPIC / TON / USDT) via Ton Pay.
  4. On success: “Membership paid” — the player becomes a member (or waits for application approval if mode is “by application”).

Join mode (open / by application) is set separately from price and combines with paid membership. Details: Clubs.

If the balance is short: “Insufficient IQPIC on balance” — top up in Balance management.

One-time and monthly

TypeWhat happens
One-timePayment on joining; no further auto-charges
Monthly30-day period; the system periodically tries to renew membership

Subscription renewal is charged from the member’s IQPIC balance. If renewal fails, membership is treated as expired (after a 7-day grace period). Rejoining — again via payment under club rules.

Joining can be paid with crypto; auto-renewal with crypto is not available — a subscription needs enough IQPIC balance.

Where money arrives for the founder

  • Immediately on the founder’s personal IQPIC balance (the same as in the account header).
  • In the founder’s history: a credit for club membership (membership payment / membership income type).
  • For the payer: a debit “Club membership payment …”.

See incoming funds: /lk/balance.

There is no refund on leaving the club (“Leave club”) or exclusion. The founder cannot leave their own club.

How it differs from other payments

PaymentWhere money goesFor what
Club membership feeFounder’s balanceEntry / subscription to the club
Tournament entry feePool and/or org costs per tournament rulesTaking part in a tournament
Donation to organizerTournament organizer’s balanceVoluntary thanks — Donations
Advertising to a sponsorTo you outside the platformPlacement on banner/posts — Placing advertising

A membership fee does not top up a club tournament’s prize pool. Earnings from tournaments inside the club are separate: Organizing tournaments.

A. Closed “subscription” community

  1. Create a club, fill rules and content.
  2. In “Access”“Paid”“Monthly”, set a price.
  3. Members pay on joining; renewal — from the balance every 30 days.
  4. You receive IQPIC on the balance on each successful payment / renewal.

B. One-time entry

  1. “Paid”“One-time”.
  2. The player pays once and stays a member with no auto-charges (until they leave or are excluded).

C. Free first, then paid

  1. Grow the audience on free membership.
  2. Switch to “Paid” and set a price — members get a notification about the change of terms.

FAQ

Where does the money go — to a “club balance”?

No. There is no separate club balance. Everything goes to the founder’s personal balance.

Is there an iqpi.io commission on membership?

No — the founder receives the full amount.

Can I enable payment right at creation?

On creation membership is always free. Payment is enabled in editing“Access”.

Is the fee refunded if I leave the club?

No.

How does a membership fee differ from a club tournament entry fee?

Membership — for access to the club (to you as founder). Tournament — for taking part in a specific tournament under that tournament’s rules.

Can I take a “donation to the club” instead of membership?

There is no separate donation to a club balance. Donations — to a tournament organizer; membership — via membership payment.

What if a member runs out of IQPIC on renewal?

The subscription will not renew, membership status becomes expired; access is limited under club rules until they pay again.
